Unsure about acupuncture and chinese medicine?
Schedule a free initial 30-minute consultation
your first initial treatment session
patient intake
Your first appointment will always start with a 15-30 minute initial consultation during which your practitioner will go over your health history in depth. We highly encourage you to share any labs or any blood work that may be relevant during your initial consultation. During your consultation, your practitioner will diagnose your body’s constitution and tailor a treatment plan to suit your individual needs, ensuring a personalized and effective solution.
the treatment
Your personalized treatment for your first session could encompass acupuncture, cupping, and tui-na techniques, tailored to your specific needs. Not all treatment techniques are beneficial for everyone and your practitioner will choose the right treatment path for you. Additionally, you may receive a prescription for herbal medicine to support your healing journey, providing further assistance beyond your clinic visits.

Treatment time may vary depending on the situation and condition of the patient, but a longer treatment session does not exactly mean a better outcome.

Most of our patients see us weekly; however, each case is unique. Your practitioner will craft a clear treatment plan for you and will tell you how often you should have treatment. Everyone responds to treatment differently so your results will depend on your particular situation. There are certain issues that can be addressed in a visit or two; other cases might require more treatments until your goal is met. Your practitioner will be able to guide you on the results you can expect. Often, patients will notice relief from a specific symptom straight away, though we may need more time to work on the underlying root of the issue.

We recommend bringing your medical records, medications and test results, as they can greatly help our practitioners in linking your ailments to the TCM diagnosis.
Please wear loose clothing so that sleeves can be rolled up above the elbows and pant legs can be pulled up above the knees during your treatment.

Certainly! If it suits your schedule better, you're welcome to see a different practitioner each week. Our clinic operates collaboratively, ensuring that every practitioner you encounter has access to your chart and is fully briefed on your case. This ensures seamless continuity of care regardless of who you see.
